Jimmy Ray Underwood

Memorial Services for Jimmy Ray Underwood, 61, of Davis are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Saturday, December 10, 2022, at the Immanuel Baptist Church in Davis, OK with Rev. Mike Johnston officiating. Services are under the care of Alexander Gray Crematory in Ringling.

Jimmy was born April 15, 1961, in Fresno, CA., to Mr. James Ray Underwood and Mrs. Virginia (McGee) Underwood Housden. He departed this life Friday, December 2, 2022, at his home in Davis.

Jimmy lived in California as a young boy but later moved to Norman, OK where he completed his High School education. He could do anything, from mechanic work to welding and much more. All of which he was self-taught. Jimmy was a workaholic. He loved to work, and he always put his all into every job he worked. Jimmy was employed by Martin Marietta Rock Quarry in Davis for many years. He loved NASCAR, Earnhardt Jr. was his favorite driver of course, old cars, going to car shows, and taking long drives with Kristie each season to see the leaves on the trees color change.

Preceding him in death are his grandparents, Henry and Irene McGee and Orvill and Mary Underwood and his father, James Underwood.

Survivors include his longtime girlfriend and companion, Kristie Camp-Watkins of Ratliff City; mother, Virginia Housden and husband Bill of Luther, OK; children, Katy Underwood of Austin, TX, Timmy Underwood of Norman, and Tony Underwood of Norman; brothers, Terry Underwood of Oklahoma City, Randy Underwood also of Oklahoma City, and Henry Underwood and wife Amie of Hitchita, OK; numerous other nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
