John Glendon Everitt

Healdton - Funeral Services for Mr. John Glendon Everitt, 56 of Lone Grove are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Friday, January 5, 2024 at Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dan Stewart officiating.  Interment will follow to Dixie Cemetery.  

John was born March 8, 1967 to Mr. George Robert Everitt and Mrs. Sandra Ann (Goetz) Everitt.  He departed from this life on December 30, 2023 in Claude, TX.

John was raised between South Texas and Louisiana.  He worked in the oilfields after high school then went into long haul truck driving for 42 years.  He married the former Leslie Marie Brooks on November 8, 2008 in Lone Grove.  John enjoyed working on equipment and being a mechanic.  He also enjoyed riding motorcycles, fishing and water skiing in his younger years.

Preceding him in death was his mother, Sandra; son, Taylor James Everitt; and a sister, Kimberly Renea Ray.

John is survived by his wife Leslie of the home; father, George Robert "Pete" Everitt; father and mother in law, Joe and Jackie Brooks; sons, John David Everitt and wife Krystal of Yorktown, Christopher Allen Everitt of Victoria, TX, and Jordan Shey Everitt of Kansas City, MO; daughters, Misty Nichole Everitt of Tallahassee, FL, Autumn Cheyenne Coffman of Ardmore, OK, Sierra Danielle Montgomery and husband Jacob of Ardmore, OK, Makali Shanea Everitt of Ada, OK;  brothers, Daniel Wayne Drebert of Oklahoma, Michael Joseph Drebert and wife Kelly of Houston, TX, and Kevin Howard Drebert D'Vil and wife April of Houston, TX;  grandchildren, Brett, Faith, Payton, Hope, Grayson, Easton, Avery, Khloe, Rylan, and Aspen; many nieces, nephews and by a host of other family and friends. 

Pallbearers will be Kevin D'Vil, J.D. Everitt, Wes Warrington, Shane Newcomb, Jacob Montgomery, and Chris Everitt.  

Honorary bearers will be Joe Brooks and Pete Everitt. 

Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 5-7 P.M. at Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Healdton. 

In Lieu of Flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home in honor of John.
