John Julius Taylor, Jr.

Countyline - Memorial Services for Mr. John "Mississippi" Julius Taylor, Jr., 69 of Countyline are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at Countyline Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Johnston officiating.  Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Ratliff City. 

John was born September 21, 1953 in Charlestown, MS to the late Mr. John Julius Taylor, Sr., and Mrs. Dorothy Lee (Tucker) Taylor.  He departed from this life on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at his home in Countyline. 

John was raised in Mississippi moving to this area after he graduated high school.  He had worked in the oilfield in his early years before laying carpet the majority of his life.  John was an avid hunter and fisherman living off the land as much as possible.  John enjoyed college and NFL football especially Old MISS and Green Bay Packers.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and a brother, Don Taylor.

John is survived by his son, Zac Taylor and wife Toni of Oklahoma City; daughter, Sondra Fox and husband Dusty of Moore; sister, Debbie Loftis and husband Jeff of Longview, TX; grandchildren, Eljah Herbert, Ethan Herbert, Angel Fox, Zoe Taylor and London Taylor; and by a host of other family and friends.
