John Michael Walker

Ringling- Graveside services for John Michael Walker, 73 are scheduled for 2:00P.M. Monday, January 27, 2020 at the Orr Cemetery in Love Co. with Ricky Taylor officiating. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home at Ringling.

John Michael Walker was born December 2, 1946, in Ardmore to the late Mr. Marion Thomas Walker and Mrs. Mary (Evans) Walker. He departed from this life on Wednesday, January 22, 2020, at Denton, TX.

John grew up in the Orr community attending school there. He has lived in Ringling most all of his life. John married the former Ms. Gladys Applegate on February 1, 1982. John served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Later he owned and operated a gun shop where he enjoyed collecting guns and working on them. John loved to go target shooting with friends and working in his yard.

John is preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Gladys of the home; cousins, Darlene Faulkner of Ringling, Sally Curtis of Arizona; sister-in-law, Judy Brown of Amarillo, TX and Margaret Scott of Hereford, TX; numerous other family and friends.
