Juanita Gladys Blair

Ringling – Funeral Services for Mrs. Juanita Gladys (Spork) Blair, 88, of Wilson are scheduled for 2:00 PM Saturday July 21, 012 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Ringling with Rev. Jimmy Morris officiating and Paul Jackson providing the eulogy. Interment will follow at the Lone Grove Cemetery in Lone Grove. Services are under the direction and care of Alexander Funeral Home of Ringling.

Juanita was born June 24, 1924 at Courtney, Ok to the late Mr. Robert G. Spork and Mrs. Anna Elizabeth (Groves) Spork. She departed this life Wednesday evening July 18, 2012 at Ardmore, OK.

Juanita was raised at Courtney attending and graduating from school there. Upon leaving Courtney she moved to Tulsa where she made airplane parts. She later moved to California and was employed at a laundry service and soon married Mr. Ray H. Blair on November 12, 1944 at Reno, NV.

Juanita was an excellent wife, homemaker, Mother and caregiver. If anyone was in need, Juanita was always there to help. She has been attending the Church of Jesus Christ of Ringling since 1948.

Preceding her in death are her Parents; Husband, Ray H. Blair – May 25, 1985; Son, Larry Wayne Blair; Brother, Dillard Spork and wife Virginia; Nephew, George Spork and Granddaughter Crystal Snow and Brother in law, Fred Blair.

Survivors include Three Daughters, Anna Snow and husband Jim Snow, Jr. of Lone Grove, Janet Wilson and husband Danny of Marietta, and Priscilla Foote and husband Billy of Lone Grove; Nephew John Spork of Tatum, TX; 8 Grandchildren, and 6 Great Grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Billy Foote, Cougan Collins, Aaron Snow, John Snow, Joshua Benson, Mike Benson, and Jordan Benson.

Honorary Bearers are Danny Wilson, Jackson Benson, and Jim Snow, Jr.

A special thank you to Juanita’s neighbor, Mr. Daniel Whitener for always helping her with her yard and many other kind duties that never went unnoticed.

Family visitation will be from 6-8pm Friday evening at Alexander Funeral Home in Ringling.
