Katherine Ann Sullivan

Zaneis - Funeral Services for Mrs. Katherine "Kathy" Ann Sullivan, 75 are scheduled for 10:00 A.M., Monday, May 22, 2023 at Zaneis Baptist Church with Rev. Doug Henson officiating.  Interment will follow to Dixie Cemetery.  Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Wilson. 

Kathy was born July 21, 1947 in San Bernardino, CA to the late Mr. Desmond Leo Cesar and Mrs. Juanita Irene (Coffman) Cesar.  She departed from this life on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 in Ardmore, OK.  

Kathy graduated from Capitol Hill High School in Oklahoma City, OK in 1965 and had worked the majority of her life in the retail business doing clerical work.  When her children were younger, Kathy sewed most of all their clothing becoming an excellent seamstress.  She had done that not only personally for herself and family but also professionally for others.  Kathy enjoyed arts and crafts, floral work and had an eye for art.   She married Mr. Leslie "Les" Archie Sullivan in Healdton, OK on June 13, 2016 and together they enjoyed going to the cattle field feeding the donkeys and the wild turkeys and they also would go to the Healdton Lake to feed the ducks.  Kathy had a lot of struggles throughout her life but surpassed them all with her faith in the Lord.  She taught her children how to pray and would pray for them and with them. Kathy was very involved in church throughout her life helping with children's church and was a member of the Zaneis Baptist Church. 

She is preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Cecil Cesar. 

Kathy is survived by her husband Les of the home; daughter, Gretta Jean and husband Steve of Bartlesville, OK; son, Michael Schofield and wife Laura of Healdton, OK; brother, Ron Pierce and wife Nikki of Granbury, TX; 7 grandchildren, Tanner, Colton, and Emily Jean, Cora Caldwell and husband Devin, Justin, Sara and Elli Scholfield; nieces, Jenita Sonaggera, Kristi Crail, and Jeanna Farrell; nephew, Johnny "Hoyt" Farrell; and by a host of other family and friends. 

Pallbearers will be Elli Schofield, Keith Murray, Steve Jean, Scott McGavern, Larry Gilbert, and Johnny Farrell.  Honorary bearers will be Blakley Koudriavtsev, Tanner Jean, Colton Jean, and Justin Schofield. 

Visitation will be held Sunday evening from 3-5 P.M. at Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Wilson.
