Kathy Dale Cox

Ratliff City - Mrs. Kathy Dale (Griffith) Cox, 70 of Duncan departed from this life on Monday, June 29, 2020 in Pauls Valley. She was born on December 15, 1949 in Pinto, OK to the late Mr. Dale Roy Griffith and Mrs. Rosa Lee (Lyle) Griffith. Cremation Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Ratliff City.

Kathy was raised in Pinto attending school at Fox. She married Mr. Gary Joe Cox at the age of 17 on November 28, 1967 in Weatherford, TX and soon after started their family. Kathy worked for Uniroyal/Michelin for 20 plus years before she retired. Soon after retirement, she worked in the health care industry as a private care giver which she really enjoyed. Kathy enjoyed decorating homes, garage sales, antiques, dolls and just collecting. But most of all, Kathy loved her family, grandchildren and the family get togethers. One thing you would see Kathy doing is always giving a good hug.

Preceding her in death are her parents.

Kathy is survived by her children, Joe Dale Cox of Lawton, Wayne Cox of Duncan, Shane Cox of Oklahoma City, Stacey Cox of Pauls Valley, Crystal Hagood and husband Randy of Pauls Valley and Matthew Cox and wife Lacey of Wilson; siblings, Billy Griffith and wife Bonnie of Pinto and Karla Dewbre and husband Billy of Ringling; grandchildren, Kyle Cox, Blake Sanders, Garrett King, Madison Cox, Dakota Cox, Kinlee Cox, Chelsea Cox, Madilyn Hagood and Catilyn Hagood; and by a host of other family and friends.

Family is having an Memorial Service Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at the Ray of Hope Church in Duncan.
