Wilson –Services for Mr. Kerry Ray Miller, 56, of Lone Grove, are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Saturday, June 13, 2015 at New Hope Freewill Baptist Church in Lone Grove with Rev. David Gardner officiating. Interment will follow at Lone Grove West Memorial Cemetery. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Funeral Home of Wilson.

Kerry was born April 13, 1959 at Ardmore, OK to the late Mr. Kenneth Ray Miller and Mrs. Sue Carol (Hess) Miller. He passed from this life Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at Ardmore, OK.

Kerry was raised at Ardmore, attending school at Plainview graduating in 1977. He joined the U.S. Navy in 1980 where he served for three years on a Destroyer. He worked for Frontier Tanks in Mannsville with his best friends, Tom Brown and Ronnie Vanderburg. He also worked for Shores Energy for 14 years before starting his own business in 2005, Kerry Miller Welding, which he owned and operated until he became ill. He married the former Lisa Price on December 23, 1988 at Louisiana. He was an awesome accomplished sketch artist and wrote some unbelievable songs. He loved his grandchildren and loved spending time with them including his daughter, fishing and watching sports.

Preceding him in death is his parents, Kenneth and Sue Miller, and parents in law, Jerry and Patsy Price.

Survivors include his wife Lisa (Price) Miller; daughter, Brianna Lynne Shorter and husband Bradley; two sisters, Kennita Moon and fiancé Doug Epley , Rajeana Heath and husband Mike all of Lone Grove; grandchildren Seth Price, Parker Price, Brylee Shorter, and Cole Shorter; nieces and nephews, Angela, Kara, Kevin, Stacey, Katelyn, Kalub, and Makayla; numerous other family and friends.

Pallbearers are Larry Covey, Larry Greathouse, Kevin Price, Kalub Miller, Chris White, Billy Wilkinson.

Honorary Bearers are Bradley Shorter, Jeff Noland, Neil Brown, Greg Allen, Steve Price, Jarred Morgan, Larry Miller, Terry Key, Mike Shores, Craig Martin, Matt Idleman, Brandon Hodges, Rocky Shirley, Jimmy White, Donnie Gaines, Douglas Epley, Seth Price, and Parker Price.

Family Visitation will be Friday evening from 6-8 at the Alexander Funeral Home of Wilson.
