Linda Kay Hawkins

Ringling - A time for Viewing and Visitation for Mrs. Linda Kay Hawkins, 76 of Ringling is set for 2:00 P.M. - 3:00 P.M on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at the Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Ringling.  Interment will follow to Ringling Memorial Cemetery.  

Linda was born November 12, 1946 in Ardmore, OK to the late Mr. Waldon Henry Hawkins and Mrs. Gertrude Lola (Austin) Hawkins.  She departed from this life on Friday, March 17, 2023 in Ardmore, OK.  

Linda was raised in Ringling attending school there and graduating with the class of 1965.  She worked for Butlers Dairy Queen then and later with Wade's Drive Inn.  After her parents passed, Linda moved to Ohio to live with her sister.  She stayed there for 15 years before moving back to Ringling Nursing Home until they closed and most recently with the Wilson Nursing Home.  Linda loved being outside, spending time with her niece, and she loved music.

Preceding her in death were her parents; twin brother, Leo Ray Hawkins, and a sister, Sandra Orozco.  

Linda is survived by her niece, Shonda Whisenhunt and husband Casey of Rowlett, TX, great niece, Taylor Thorne of Rowlett, TX; many other cousins, family and friends.
