Linda Marie Quick

April 13, 1946 — April 18, 2012

Ratliff City- Funeral Services for Mrs. Linda Marie Quick, 66 of Elmore City, are scheduled for 2:00 PM Saturday, April 21, 2012 at the Ratliff City First Baptist Church with husband Rev. Clyde Quick officiating and Rev. Doyle Seeley assisting. Interment will follow at the Tussy Cemetery in Tussy. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Funeral Home of Ratliff City.


Linda was born April 13, 1946 at Oklahoma City, OK to the late Mr. Clois E. James and Mrs. Norma Irene (Hammond) James. She went to be with the Lord Wednesday evening at her home in Elmore City.


Linda was raised at Oklahoma City as one of ten children being raised in a family of singers. She sang in the All City Choir in High School. A fiend arranged a blind date in March of 1963 with her soon to be husband, Mr. Clyde Quick. They were married July 1st of that same year. To that union was born 2 sons. She was a homemaker, Mother, and a Pastors wife.


Clyde and Linda ministered and built 7 Churches in the state of Oklahoma from 1980 to 2010. She was a loving wife and devoted Mother who loved to sing in church and grow flowers. She and Clyde are members of the Assemblies of God Church.


Preceding her in death are her Parents; 4 Brothers, Allen, Whit, Jimmy and Frankie James; Sister Eula Mae Maize ; Father in Law, Cleo W. Quick and Brother in law Leroy “Sonny” Knight.


Survivors include Husband, Rev. Clyde Quick of Elmore City; Sons, Clyde Gene Quick and Berry James Quick and wife Pam; Grandsons, Travis and Kevin; Granddaughter Brogan Dawn; 5 Great Grandchildren; Mother in law – Joyce Quick; Brother in law, Gary Knight; Sister in law, Wanda Jenkins; Sisters, Norma Hickerson, Mary Dodson, Pat Selman and Sherry Hurt. Numerous other family, Church family and friends.


Pallbearers will be Family and Friends.


Family visitation will be from 6-8 pm Friday evening at the funeral home in Ratliff City.
