Loretta Jane Mackey

Cremation Services for Loretta Jane Mackey, 84, of Meridian are under the care of Alexander gray Crematory of Ringling. She was born Jan. 19, 1939, at Lucien to the late Mr. Lee Acey Mackey and Mrs. Viola Magdalene (Kroger) Mackey. She departed from this life Thursday, Feb. 2, 2023, at the nursing home in Meridian.

Jane was raised at Crescent working all her years at Tinker Air Force Base as a welder doing metal fabrication. She attended church at the Crescent Church of Christ where she was a member and had attended church in Davis at the Vinita Street Church of Christ, while residing there.

Jane was always very independent and loved to drive around in her car, while eating KFC. She loved to spending time researching her genealogy, and she loved giving gifts to her family.

Preceding her in her death, Parents, and brother Keith Mackey.

Survivors include her sister, Joyce Schuer and husband Simon of Crescent; brother, Earl Dean Mackey of Tulsa; nephews, Destry French and wife April, Greg Mackey, Stacy Mackey, and Tracy French; numerous other relatives and friends of the family.
