Ringling - Funeral Services for Mrs. Louise Scribner, 76 of Wichita Falls, TX are scheduled for 1:00 PM Thursday July 18, 2013 at Alexander Funeral Home Chapel of Ringling with Rev. Alex Costea officiating. Interment will follow at the Ringling Memorial Cemetery in Ringling.

Louise was born January 31, 1937 at Ringling to the late Mr. Sherman Orville and Mrs. Thelma Lou (Lyle) Nell. She passed away peacefully to be with the Lord Monday, July 15, 2013 at Wichita Falls, TX.

On June 18, 1955 she married her high school sweetheart, Charles Scribner of Lone Grove, OK. They moved to Wichita Falls and became lifelong residents. She was a homemaker and when her children were older, she embarked on a new challenge and attended college. She earned her Bachelors Degree at MSU and soon entered the business world and retired a successful business woman. Louise was a beloved Mother and “Nanou”. She was preceded in death by her Father and Mother; Infant Brother, Orville Ray; Brother, Lewis and husband Charles.

She is survived by her son, Brent and wife Joni, and three grandchildren, Ben, Sam and Madi that loved and cared for her along with Sister, Teresa Johnson of Wichita Falls, TX and Brother, DJ Nell and wife Sharon of Ringling, OK; She is also survived by sons, Kevin and Family of Wichita Falls, TX, and Jeff and Family; 4 other grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; Brothers, Don and Jerry; and many other in laws, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Nanou enjoyed watching her grandchildren grow up and cherished being a part of everything they did. We will miss our Nanou very much.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
