Margaret Frances (Howell) Staggs

Ratliff City - Funeral Services for Mrs. Margaret Frances (Howell) Staggs, 86, of Countyline are scheduled for 10 am Wed. September 4, 2013 at the Ratliff City Cemetery Pavilion with Rocky Keck officiating. Services are under the direction of Alexander Funeral Home of Ratliff City.

Margaret was born December 26, 1926 at Clarksville, TX to the late Mr. Joseph L. Howell and Mrs. Laura (Dunson) Howell. She departed this life Saturday August 31, 2013 at her home in Duncan.

Margaret was raised in Bagota, TX attending school there. She married Mr. Coy "Bill" Staggs on March 6, 1946 at Yuma, AZ. To this union came 4 wonderful children. Margaret worked in the Duncan area in the nursing field for years. She loved taking care of anyone who needed help. Like any nanny she spoiled her grandkids beyond repair. Nanny loved family gatherings, playing cards and marbles. She was always full of love.

Preceding her in death are her Parents; Husband Bill, July 29, 2006; Son, J.C. Staggs; Grandson Joe Dale and 3 sisters and 3 brothers.

Survivors include her Children, Oneta Walker and husband J.C. of Duncan, Darlene Jones and husband Lowell of Davis, Arlene Bingham and husband Lynn of Bray and Coy Staggs and wife Debbie of Waurika; 13 Grandchildren, 35 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great Great Grandchildren and 2 more on the way.

Serving as casket bearers are Micah Franklin, Bil Walker, Johnny Bingham,Jimmy Bingham, Lowell James Jones and Josh Jones.

Honorary Bearers are Grandsons and Granddaughters.

Family visitation will be from 6-8 pm Tuesday evening at the funeral home in Ratliff City.
