Mark Anthony Morris

Mark Anthony Morris of Wilson departed this life on Tuesday, July 6th in Ardmore at the age of 57 years, 7 months, and 25 days. Memorial services will announced at a later date. Cremation services are under the direction and care of Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Wilson.

Mark was born on November 14, 1963 in St. Louis, MO to Mr. Edward B. Miles and Mrs. Maxine (Gilbert) Morris.

Mark mostly grew up in Spokane, WA and attended school graduating from Central Valley High School. He joined the United States Army in 1988 and proudly served his country during Desert Storm until 1991. He received several accommodations for his service such as the National Defense Service Medal, Southwest Asia Service Medal with Bronze Stars, and the Army Commendation Medal. Mark enjoyed being outdoors fishing, computers, and collecting survival gear. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Mark is preceded in death by his sister Jodie O'Daniel.

He is survived by his wife Mary Ann (Gallaher) Morris of the home in Wilson, sons, Mark Miles of Kenai, AK, Anthony Morris of Spokane Washington, Garrett Morris of the home in Wilson; mother, Maxine Morris of Wilson; father, Al Morris of Torrance, CA; sisters, Kelly Johnson of Ringling, Sheila Morris of Torrance, CA; brothers, Tim Miles of Spokane, WA, Eddie Miles and wife Amber of Hamilton, MT, Albert Morris of Wilson; Many nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
