Mary F Emberling

Funeral Services for Mrs. Mary Frances (Winnett) Emberling, 65 of Healdton are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Friday, April 19, 2024 at First Baptist Church of Healdton with Rev. Jimmy May officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Olive Cemetery. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Healdton.

Mary was born February 27, 1959 in Colbert, OK to the late Mr. Willie Calvin Winnett and Mrs. Goldie Raeveron (Chelf) Winnett.  She departed from this life on Monday, April 15, 2024 in Healdton, OK.  

Mary was raised in Colbert, graduating from Colbert High School in 1977.  Upon graduation, she attended Southeastern University obtaining her bachelors degree in 1980 and then her masters degree in education thereafter.  Mary married Mike Emberling on August 6, 1983 in Healdton, OK making their home together in Healdton.  Together they were blessed with 4 wonderful daughters, Mika, Michelle, Callie and Maci.  Mary was a schoolteacher who dedicated 40 years of teaching to her community and her students, and she had also served on the Healdton City Council which she loved.  Mary enjoyed gardening and her green house, fishing, and especially her grandchildren, going to all of their sporting events.  She was loved and respected by everyone who knew her for her truthfulness and love. 

Preceding her in death were her parents; daughter, Callie; brothers, Ernest and John Winnett; sister, Wanda Johnston; sister in law, Annie Winnett; and her brothers in law, TG Johnston and Benny Kemper. 

Mary is survived by her husband, Mike of the home; daughters, Mika Tinline and husband Mike of Ardmore, Michelle Emberling of Healdton, and Maci Tripp and husband Zach of Healdton; grandchildren, Addlyn, Evelyn, Mccray, Jaxi, and Tatum; grand dog, Vada; siblings, Calvin Winnett and wife Joy of Calera, Jerry Winnett and wife Cheryl of Colbert, Melvin Winnett and wife Gloria of Calera, Tommy Winnett and wife Veroncia of Colbert, and Linda Kemper of Sherman, TX; sisters in law, Vera Winnett of Colbert and Carolyn Tiner and husband Gary of Wilson; bonus sister, Pat Martin and husband Gary of Healdton; and by a host of other family and friends. 

Pallbearers will be Kevin Martin, Ryan Blakemore, Terry Shaw, Scotty Christian, Larry Munholland, and Corey Tiner.  Honorary bearers will be Gary Martin, Greg Munholland, Gary Tiner and Zach Smith.

Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Healdton.
