Michael Carl O'Daniel

Wilson - Funeral Services for Mr. Michael "Mike" Carl O'Daniel, 63, of Wilson are schedule for 10:00 am Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2018 at Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Wilson with Jim McGaughy officiating. Interment will follow at Hewitt Cemetery of Wilson.

Mike was born on May 8, 1955 at Ardmore to the late Mr. Emery Victor O'Daniel and Mrs. Myrtle Emily (Wessel) O'Daniel. He departed this life on Friday Feb. 8, 2019 at his home in Wilson.

Mike was raised in Healdton area residing at Wirt. He married the former Vicki June Taylor on May 15, 1978 at Ardmore. They made their home in Wilson where Mike worked in the Oilfield doing electrical work for Bakers Electric. He also worked for Bray Painting and Michelin for as long as he was able. Mike enjoyed playing dominoes, cards and horseshoes. He loved being outside and watching OU football. He was formerly a member of the Assembly of God Church of Wilson. Above all Mike was a family man who adored his children and loved spending time holding his grandchildren.

Preceding him in death are his parents; Emery O'Daniel and Myrtle E. Vansill; and brothers, Victor and Gene O'Daniel.

Survivors include his wife Vicki of the home; children, Carl Bishop and wife Meghan of Ardmore, Michael O'Daniel and wife Jody of Ringling, Arlon O'Daniel and wife Lisa Shelton of McLoud, OK, Rebecca Ortiz and husband Ricky of Ringling and Chris O'Daniel of Wilson; brothers, Pat O'Daniel and wife Harriet of Healdton and Mack O'Daniel and wife Cheryl; 14 grandchildren, Tyler, Trae, Tia, Cooper, Cameron, Chance, Karsn, Kadee, Karah, Kegan, Brantley, Bryan and Hayden, Makayla; numerous other family and friends.

Casket Bearers are Jeremy Thompson, Kevin Stearns, Tyler Bishop, Trae Bishop, Ricky Ortiz and Hayden Ortiz.

Honorary Bearers are Donnie Taylor, James Hayes, Pat O'Daniel and Mack O'Daniel.

Family visitation will be 6 to 8 pm Monday evening at the funeral home in Wilson.
