Healdton - Funeral Services for Mrs. Mildred "Louise" (Hensley) Lakey, 92 are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Friday, April 12, 2024, at Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Healdton with Jim Duck officiating.  Interment will be 2:00 P.M., Saturday, April 13, 2024, at Grant Cemetery in Grant, OK with Kenny Bailey officiating.   Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Healdton. 

Louise was born March 5, 1932, in Denison, TX to the late Mr. Oliver P. Hensley and Mrs. Willie Mae (Tomlinson) Hensley.  She departed from this life on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at Midwest City, OK.  

Louise moved around most of her life but attended Grant High School graduating in 1950.  She married Bennie Bailey and together they were blessed with 4 children.  Bennie preceded her in death in September of 1994.  Louise received her LPN license and began working for the Stratford Nursing Home and shortly after went on to work for the Pauls Valley Hospital where she was employed for nearly 30 years.  After retiring, Louise proudly began working at the Pauls Valley State School for special needs.  She had a great love and passion for that job. Later Louise married Ezzert Parker on January 6, 2001, in Arkansas.  He preceded her in death on March 9, 2011.  A year and a half later, she married Richard Lakey on September 15, 2012, in Ardmore and made their home in Healdton.  He preceded her in death on September 7, 2021.  Louise loved to garden, raise cattle, she loved nursing and helping others. 

Preceding her in death were her parents; 3 husbands; 5 sisters; 3 brothers; infant daughter; and a 4-year-old son. 

Louise is survived by her daughter, Wanda Florer and husband Ron of Harrah, OK; son, Mark Bailey and wife Ilene of Tuttle, OK; 6 grandchildren, Christopher Florer, Luke Florer and wife Sarah,  Kacie Henson and husband Matt, Jessica Lane and husband Kent, Rebecca Simpson and husband Joey, and Ben Bailey; 5 great grandchildren, Camryn Rollins, Isabel Henson, Cheyenne Lane, Daltyn Lane, and Spencer Simpson; stepchildren, Rick Lakey and wife Chris, Doug Lakey and wife Cindy, Jennifer Wilkinson and husband Kenneth, and James Lakey; 6 step grandchildren; 12 step great grandchildren; numerous other family and many friends.
