Nancy Jo (Bray) Blount

Nancy Jo (Bray) Blount, of Ardmore, departed this life on Thursday, March 31, 2022 at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, OK at the age of 57 years, 11 months, and 25 days. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. April 5, 2022 at the First Baptist Church of Ardmore. Interment will follow in the Newport Cemetery in Lone Grove. Services are under the direction and care of Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Wilson.

Nancy was born to Mr. Clebert Ward "Keg" Bray and Mrs. Marcella (Jones) Bray in Ardmore, OK on April 6, 1964.

She was raised primarily in Lone Grove and attended Plainview Schools and was active with the flag corp. Nancy graduated with the Plainview High School Class of 1982. She later attended Murray State College and received her Associates degree. She was Certified Nurses Aide and had worked at different nursing homes before going to work at Mercy Memorial Hospital for the past 18 years as a nurse. Nancy enjoyed painting, gardening and doing arts and crafts. She was a member of the Baptist faith and most recently attended church at Fusion of Ardmore.

Nancy is preceded in death by her father, Keg Bray; grandson, Jakob Blount, grandparents, Lottie Mae Jones and Dave and Vera Bray.

She is survived by her sons, Josh Blount and wife Kristin of Ardmore; Nick Blount and wife Marcia of Ardmore; daughter, Desiree Lewis and Tyler Dickson of Ardmore; mother, Marcella Bray of Lone Grove; brothers,Danny Bray and wife Tressie of Graham; Chris Bray and wife Tiffany of Lone Grove; grandchildren, Johnathan Blount, Noah Blount, Kinzley Dickson; numerous cousins and friends.

Serving as casket bearers will be Chris Bray, Danny Bray, Steven Bray, Conner Bray, Jesse Bray, and Tyler Dickson.

Honorary casket bearers will be Noah Blount, Jonathan Blount, Jay Bray, Ronnie Shrader, A.B. Smith, and David Jones.
