Patricia Ann Sarr

Wilson - Funeral Service for Mrs. Patricia Ann Sarr are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Saturday, January 14, 2023 at the Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Wilson with Bro. Rob Lee officiating. 

 Patricia peacefully passed away in Burneyville, OK. on December 27th, 2022.  Patricia was born in Sparta, IL. on August 20th, 1943. Her birth name was Hazel Louise Langley but was later changed by her aunt Annie to Patricia based on the popular song at the time, “Patricia” by Perry Como.

Patricia grew up in St. Louis, MO., and was raised by her grandmother Schmooney Michaels (Mama) and Mildred Sarr (Aunt Millie). Patricia helped them run their family store in St. Louis for most of her younger years and has cherished those memories. Later in life, Patricia held many accomplishments including being a loving wife and mother, as well as a successful actress, artist, poet, and fashion model. In her spare time, Patricia enjoyed long-form writing, playing solitaire, singing whilst cleaning, and just loving to make people laugh.

Patricia is survived by her children, Eric Beck, Todd Beck, Jennifer Morris, Aimee Pittman, Bonnie Singleton, Marcie Tacker, Tricia Brown & Delilah Brown.
