Patricia (Hodges) Reid

Patricia (Hodges) Reid, of Grady, departed this life on Thursday, March 17, 2022 in Ardmore at the age of 68 years, 3 months, and 17 days. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00P.M. Thursday, March 24, 2022 at Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Ringling with Rev. Ronnie Carroll officiating. Interment will be at the Grady Cemetery in Grady. Services are under the direction and care of Alexander Funeral Home of Ringling.

Patricia was born to the late Mr. Waymon F. Hodges and Mrs. Dorothy L. (Camplain) Hodges on November 30, 1953 at the Husky Clinic in Ringling, OK.

Patricia had lived in the Southern Oklahoma area most of her life. She married Mr. Johnny Reid on August 7, 1974 in Ardmore. Together they made their home in Grady. Patricia was a devoted homemaker and mother. She enjoyed singing, writing poetry, going to sales and searching for the perfect antiques. She loved her granddaughters and spending time with them.

Patricia is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Johnny Reid; and a brother, Gale Smith.

She is survived by her daughter, Kaila King and husband Mike of Ringling; son, John Corey Reid of Ringling; granddaughters, Madison King, Rani King, and Presley Reid; brother, Jack Hodges and wife Patsy of Ryan; Many nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Terry Langley, Brent Smith, Bryan Smith, Gus Ashley, Linder Seay, and Mike Stewart.

Visitation will be held from 6 - 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at Alexander Funeral Home of Ringling.
