Ringling – Funeral Services for Mrs. Patsy “Pat” Jean (Thompson) Wilson, 83, of Ringling are scheduled for 10:00 AM Monday Nov. 12, 2018 at the Alexander Funeral Home Chapel of Ringling with Rev. Mike Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Dixie Cemetery north of Ringling.

Pat was born August 1, 1935 at Orr to the late Mr. Andrew Jackson Thompson and Mrs. Alta Emilie (Wells) Thompson. She passed from this life Friday, Nov. 9, 2018 at the Mercy Hospital of Healdton.

Pat married the late Mr. Fred J. Wilson on October 10, 1951 at Gainesville, TX. They worked together on the farm running cattle and also harvesting pecans. Away from the home Pat was employed many years at Stones IGA of Healdton working within the meat department and at Uniroyal as a tire builder. She also provided home healthcare to the elderly for some time.

Pat enjoyed painting and was an extraordinary artist. She loved her flowers and adored her many animals. She also enjoyed travelling and visiting the casinos from time to time. Most recently she enjoyed her daily visits at the Senior Citizens Center and at the drug store with her friends. Pat attended the First Baptist Church of Ringling.

Preceding her is husband, Fred on April 13, 2000; parents, A.J. and Alta Thompson; brothers, Elzie, Ray, Charles and Billy; her twin brother, Bobby; sisters, Oma and Alene and a grandson, Michael Rapier.

Survivors include her daughters, Linda Rapier and husband Danny and Patty DeBord and husband Todd, all of Ringling; sons, Fred Wilson and wife Nancy of Oil City and Jeremie Wilson and wife Kristi of Ringling; sisters, JoAnn Max of Tennessee, Virginia Whitener of Ringling and Shirley Redmon and husband Bill of Orr, and Irene Lansford and husband Lester of Lawton; brothers, Wayne Thompson and wife Darlene of Oklahoma City; grandchildren, Casey Rapier and wife Leigh of Durant, Tracey Rapier and wife Tori of Ringling, Jami Jo and Devin Anderson of Oklahoma City, Jared Ficklin of RIngling and Toby Bland and wife Johna of Dickson; great grandchildren, Austin and Aniston Rapier, Kennedi and Kane Rapier, Tanner and Haiden Wilson, Brenton and Clinton Bland; special friend, Martha Stagner and lifelong friend Bonnie Hunt and a host of other family and friends.

Casket Bearers are Casey Rapier, Tracey Rapier, Austin Rapier, Jeremie Wilson, Tanner Wilson and Fred Wilson.

Family visitation will be held from 4 pm to 6 pm Sunday Nov. 11, 2018 at Alexander Funeral Home of Ringling.

The family would like to express their appreciation to the Doctors, Nurses and Staff of Mercy Hospital of Healdton for their compassionate care and love.
