Rexroat -Services for Peggy Janet (Pletcher) Hacker, 73, of Lone Grove, are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at the Rexroat Baptist Church in Wilson with Rev. Jimmy May and Rev. Monte Dean officiating. Interment will follow at Hewitt Cemetery with Les Hacker officiating. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Wilson.


Peggy was born June 4, 1950, at Madera, CA, to the late Mr. Orville Gerald “Buck” Pletcher and Mrs. Bertha Mae (Thompson) “Bert” Pletcher. She departed this life Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at her home in Lone Grove.


Peggy was born in California but was raised primarily at Springer, OK, where she graduated High School with the class of 1968. She married the love of her life, Loran Russell Hacker on July 26, 1968, at the Lake Murray Chapel. Peggy and Loran have resided and remained in the Lone Grove area all these years. She worked in the home as a homemaker and housewife until their three children were raised, then she began working as a truckdriver with her husband, traveling all over the United States. Peggy loved her kids and grandkids and attended most of their activities. She loved to quilt, shop, and decorate but most of all she loved spending time with her family. Peggy and Loran were best friends and enjoyed sharing their lives together. She was a member of the Rexroat Baptist Church.


Preceding her in death are her parents, Buck and Bertha, and an infant sister.


Survivors include her husband Loran Hacker of the home; son, Chris Hacker and his children, Johnna Thompson and husband Elliot, Holly Hacker, and Lauren Hacker and their mother, Sheryl McNeely; daughter, Brandy Graham and husband Tillman of Anchorage, AK and their son, Tillman “Tug” Graham. Son, Matthew Hacker and wife Tonya of Lone Grove with their children, Emily and Josh Hacker; Great grandchildren, Eli and Ethan Thompson, who spent countless hours in MeMe and Papa's backyard park; siblings, Robert Pletcher of Ardmore, Sandy Mott of Springer, and Tammie Adams of Springer; numerous other family, and a host of friends.


The family would like to express great thanks to Cross Timbers Hospice, especially Heather Garrett, Brandy Yarbrough, Sarah Goodson and Crystal Wood for the amazing and heartfelt care they have provided Peggy and her family.


Pallbearers will be Josh Hacker, Elliot Thompson, Robert Keith Pletcher, Carlen Fulton, Chad Nance, and Darin Metzer.


Honorary bearers Tillman Graham, Eli Thompson, Ethan Thompson, Vernon Musgrove, Boyd Salsbury, Tug Graham, Chaz Gregg, Steven Hacker and Todd Graves.


Visitation will be held 6-8 P.M., Monday evening at the Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Wilson.
