Wilson- Graveside services for Ms. Peggy Louise Crummey, 76, of Wilson are scheduled for 11:00 AM Monday, August 24, 2015 at the Leon Cemetery with Rev. Don Clark officiating. Services are under the direction and care of Alexander Funeral Home of Wilson.

Peggy Louise Crummey was born on January 18, 1939 at Ardmore to the late Mr. Melton Ray Crummey and Mrs. Josie Velma (Mauldin) Crummey. She departed this life Friday morning August 21, 2015 at Lake Country Nursing Center of Marietta.

Peggy was raised at Burneyville attending school at Courtney. She later spent her days farming and ranching for local farms. She really enjoyed visiting Flea Markets. Peggy loved the casinos and her many visits to Las Vegas. She was also a past member of the Rubottom Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were parents, Mr. Melton Crummey and Mrs. Josie (Mauldin) Crummey.

Survivors include her lifelong special friend and confidant Freida Sue Hartman of Wilson; Children, Kathy Jo Hays of Ardmore, Michael Keith Arledge of Courtney, and Lisa Ann Arledge of Lone Grove; sister, Debra Kay (Crummey) Morris of Liberty, Missouri; grandchildren, Justin Keith Arledge, Cain Arledge, Melissa Nichols and husband Joey, Ashley Hays and fiancé Jay Davis; great grandchildren, Jacob, Jordan, and Kassie Nichols, Jillian and Carter Arledge; numerous other family and friends.
