Lipan, TX - Funeral Services for Mr. Rickey D."R.D." Morrison, 62, of Lone Grove are scheduled for 2:00 PM Saturday May 9, 2015 at the Lipan Church of Christ of Lipan, TX with Floyd Jones officiating. Interment will follow at the Mt.Pisgah Cemetery at Patillo, TX. Services are under the direction of Alexander Funeral Home of Wilson and Wylies Funeral Home Chapel of Lipan, TX.

R.D. was born May 28, 1952 to the late Mr. Gene Sherman Morrison and Mrs. Francis M. (Young) Morrison. He departed this life Sat. May 2, 2015 at his home in Lone Grove.

R.D. was raised in the Saginaw, TX area being drafted into the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He served honorably stateside being discharged on April 15, 1974. R.D. worked in the Drywall business all of his working years. He moved to Lone Grove in 2013. He loved playing the guitar, fishing and watching NASCAR.

Preceding him in death were his Parents, Gene and Dean Morrison.

Survivors include his daughter, Richelle Morrison of Springtown, TX; granddaughter, Michaela Morrison; step grandson, Coltyn Yost; great granddaughter, Raegan Mendoza; sisters, Brenda Morrison of Lone Grove and Sharon Russell and husband Howard of Saginaw, TX; brother, Mike Morrison and wife Patty of Lipan, TX; nieces, Tracie, Tera and Kaelyn; numerous other family and friends.

Casket Bearers are Mike Morrison, James Rich, Butch Morrison, James White, William Russell and Shorty Farrell.

Local viewing will be held Thursday at Alexander Funeral Home of Wilson from 10am to 8pm.

Family visitation will be from 6-8pm Friday evening at the Wylie Funeral Home of Lipan, TX .
