Raedonna Susan Gamon

Healdton- Raedonna Susan Gamon, 63, of Healdton, was born October 21, 1959, in Ardmore to the late Mr. Joe Rice and Mrs. Rose Marie (Ballard) Rice. She departed this life Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at her home in Healdton.

Raedonna was raised in Healdton where she attended school. She married Mr. Jack Gamon on Jan. 9, 1978 at Gainesville, TX.  They moved to Pampa, TX in 1989, where Raedonna began a  career as a certified Nurse’s Aide. There she worked at the Pampa Nursing Home. The later moved to Krum, TX in 1992 and in 1994 moved to Denton, TX, where she was employed at Denton Rehabilitation and also at Senior Care. She was a dedicated nurse’s aide for 12 years, just recently moving back to Healdton. 

There’s nothing she loved more than her family, especially her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved to camp, swim and dance. 

She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Lisa Gamon; brothers, Mark and Steve Rice; sister-in-law, Pam Rice; father-in-law, Jack Gamon, Sr.; grandson, Austin Rodgers; son-in-law, Mark Rodgers and great granddaughter, Brooklyn Rodgers.

Survivors include her husband Jack Gamon of the home; Son, Jeremy Gamon and wife Amber of Callisburg, TX; daughter, Denise McKinney and husband Stephen of Pampa, TX; grandsons, Dylan and Caleb Gamon of Callisburg, TX and Norman Rodgers of Lubbock, TX; granddaughter, Payton Rodgers and significant other, Logan Blackburn of Laverne, OK; great granddaughters, Quinn Rodgers, Analeigh Rodgers, Brynlee Blackburn, and Emberleigh Blackburn; great grandson, Isaiah Rodgers; sisters-in-law, Deena Parks and husband Ernest of Healdton and Sonja Gamon of Healdton; mother-in-law, Hazel Gamon of Healdton; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Crematory in Ringling.
