Wilson - Funeral Services for Mr. Randy Joe Hacker, 61, of Wilson are scheduled for 2:00 PM Friday February 7, 2020 at the First Baptist Church of Wilson with Rev. Mark Fuller and Rev. Kenny Morrison officiating. Interment will follow at Hewitt Cemetery. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Wilson.

Randy was born on Sept. 9, 1958 at Wilson to the late Mr. J.L. Hacker and Mrs. Evelyn Virginia (Cantwell) Hacker. He departed this life Monday, February 3, 2020 at his home in Wilson.

Randy was raised in Wilson attending school here. He loved all sports during his school years, especially track. He graduated with the class of 1977 and began working with his family working at Hack & Sons Roustabout and Backhoe Service. Randy operated heavy equipment most all of his working years,recently retiring from the City of Wilson due to his health.

Randy married the love of his life, the former Ms. Shelly Lynn Morrison, on Nov. 5, 1977 at Norman. They shared 42 wonderful years together residing in Wilson. Randy was a very talented and accomplished artist. He completed a number of pieces of art being recognized publicly for his contribution of the bronzed Eagle at the east entrance of Wilson. He always stayed active within the community serving on the Hewitt and Bomar Point Cemetery Board as a trustee for several terms and serving the City of Wilson for many years as an employee.

Randy was a member of several bands, playing music, writing and singing songs as the lead vocalist. His music and songwriting skills were highly skilled, performing at many events and establishments throughout southern Oklahoma.Through his love for learning and creating, Randy lived an exciting life. He became a very skilled student of Karate and also learned the art of roping. His family time was spent camping during their many hunting and fishing trips. He loved to share his kindness and appreciation for all the small things in life with his family and many friends. Randy always enjoyed having a good time and tried to find good in everyone. His family was his his pride and joy and he loved the Lord with his whole heart . Randy was a member of the First Baptist Church of Wilson .

He is preceded in death by his parents and a grandson, Davin Mercer.

Survivors include his loving wife Shelly of the home; daughters, Misty Mercer and husband Jamie of Ringling and Shelby Hacker and Randy Stinson of Ardmore; son, Dusty Hacker and wife Heather of Wilson; sisters, Debbie Ann Gastineau of Tishomingo and Cindy Reed and husband Steve of Lone Grove; brothers, Leslie Don Hacker of Wilson and Terry Lynn Hacker and wife Cindy of Blanchard; 10 grandchildren, Zoe, Johnny , Gabe, Carter, Harper, Elle, Riley, Macey, Sydney and Marina; 8 great grandchildren, Aleeya, EJ, Joslyn, Kavasa, Tobias, Darcy, Emory and Harley; numerous other family and friends.

Pallbearers are Ronnie Nichols, Larry Forsythe, Benton Goodson, Zane Gray, Jim McGaughy, Kenny Morrison, and Whitey Hernanadez.

Honorary bearers are David Parker, Miles Goode, Steve Reed , Stan Harris, Gary Whitener, Jay Paul Norton, and Billy Caples.

Family visitation will be Thursday evening from 6 to 8 pm at Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Wilson.
