Richard Larry Turner

Services for Mr. Richard Larry Turner 61, are scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Friday, December 13, 2013 at the Ringling Church of Christ in Ringling, Oklahoma with Dr. Virgil Trout officiating. Interment will follow at Arpelar Cemetery in Arpelar, Oklahoma at 2:00 P.M. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Funeral Home of Ringling, Oklahoma.

Larry was born on June 7, 1952 at McAlester Oklahoma to Mr. Lawrence Elsie Turner and Mrs. Louise Juanita (Martin) Turner. He passed from this life Saturday, December 7, 2013 at Wilson, Oklahoma.

Larry was raised in California and moved to Ringling in the mid 1980’s. He married the former Belinda Thomas December 31, 1989 at Ardmore, Oklahoma and they made their home in Zanies. Larry worked as a cross country truck driver for several years then as an EMT and lastly as a physical therapist for Odyssey out of Ardmore where he was presently employed. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and was a member of the Wings of Life Motorcycle Club. Larry was a barber to many people always enjoying cutting hair. He enjoyed messing with and riding his tractors. Larry was a member of the Ringling Church of Christ.

He is preceded in death by his Parents and Brother in law, Richard Woodall.

Survivors include his Spouse of 20 years , Belinda Turner of Ringling, Ok. ; Two Sons, Lee Turner and Aaron “Spanky” Turner both of Durant, Ok.; Two Sisters, Bobby Woodall of Arpelar, Ok and Phyllis Bridgeman and husband Joe of Little City, OK.; Numerous Nieces ,Nephews ,Family and Friends.

Pallbearers are Jay Thomas, J.T. Thomas, Sergio Gonzalez, Mike Hudson, Josh Hudson and Michael Hudson.

Honorary Bearers are the Wings of Life Motorcycle Club.

Visitation will be Thursday, December 12, 2013 from 6-8 P.M. at the Alexander Funeral Home of Ringling, Oklahoma.
