Richard "Ricky" James Adams

Memorial services are scheduled for 2:00P.M. Saturday, January 25, 2020 at the Bomar Point Cemetery in Wilson with Bro. Raymond Norton officiating.

Richard “Ricky” James Adams, Jr. was born on February 11, 1959 in Oklahoma City, OK to the late Mary and Richard “Dick” Adams. He passed from this life on December 31, 2019 at his home of many years, Seminole Pioneer Nursing Home, at the age of 60.

Ricky lived most of his life in Wilson and was given a second chance at life after a near fatal car accident as a young adult. He was a dedicated follower of Christ, he loved reading the Bible and was always active in his church community. He was a self taught artist who loved drawing and sharing his art with others. Ricky was a social butterfly who never met a stranger and loved to share stories and laughs at any opportunity.

Ricky is survived by his sisters, Shelly Brown and Janie Stinett; nieces, Haley Brown, Leah Norton-Carleton, and Amber Norton-DeGiusti; nephew, Jeremy Faught; and numerous great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Mary (Riley) Adams and Richard “Dick” Adams, Sr.; and his sister, Cindy Clark.

A memorial service will be scheduled for friends and family at a later date.
