Robert Earl Wyche

Ringling – Funeral Services for Mr. Robert Earl Wyche, 94, of Ringling are scheduled for 10:00 AM Wed. Nov. 27, 2013 at the Ringling First Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Ringling Memorial Cemetery. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Funeral Home of Ringling.

Robert Earl was born April 29, 1919 at Blooming Grove, TX to the late Mr. Robert “Bob” Earl Wyche and Mrs. Beatrice (Thomas) Wyche. He went to be with the Lord Monday morning, Nov. 25, 2013 at his home in Ringling.

He and his family moved to Ringling when he was nine where they owned and operated a Hatchery-Poultry business south of town. He married the former Ms. Mary Frances Love whom he met while attending college at OSU. Soon after he joined the United States Navy at the beginning of WWII and served honorably as an Aviation Machinist Mate 2nd class until January 12, 1946. He returned to Ringling afterwards and took over the Hatchery business before beginning his career at the US Postal service from which he would later retire from. He also served as the Mayor of Ringling and was a member of the Methodist Church.

Mary preceded him in death on February 25, 1994. He then married the former Hazel Dunford on April 25, 1995 at Las Vegas, NV. They spent several happy years together with their families residing in Ringling. They attended the First Baptist of Ringling and always enjoyed being together and driving the countryside.

Also preceding him in death are his Parents; and Sister Mary Bickel.

Survivors include his wife Hazel (Porter)Dunford Wyche of the home; Daughters, Linelle Mallory of Bethany; Sons, Charles Wyche and wife Nona of Springdale, Ark and Jerry Wyche and wife Diane of Lone Grove; Stepdaughter, Nita Wade and husband Calvin of Ringling; Grandchildren, Jon David Wyche, Brandie Riggs and husband Jase; Step grandchildren, Brent Wade and wife Angela, Brad Wade and wife Annie, and Brandon Wade and wife Amy; Great Grandchildren, Sophia and Nora Riggs; Step Great Grandchildren, Jacob, Travis, Larin, Hadon, Brice, Kye and Knox. Numerous other family and friends.

Serving as casket bearers will be Jase Riggs, Jon David Wyche, Brent Wade, Brad Wade, Brandon Wade and Calvin Wade.

Family visitation will be from 5-7pm Tuesday evening at Alexander Funeral Home of Ringling.
