Ronald Wayne Jones

Mr. Ronald Wayne Jones, of Lone Grove, departed this life on Sunday, December 20, 2020 in McAlister at the age of 60 years, 0 months, and 16 days. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Monday, December 28, 2020 at Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Wilson with Rev. Wayne Howard and Rev. Darryl Howard officiating. Interment will follow in the Cheek Cemetery near Lone Grove. Services are under the direction and care of Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Wilson.

Ronald was born to the late Mr. George Elmer Jones and Mrs. Patsy Joan (Justice) Jones in Ardmore on December 4, 1960. He lived in this area for all of his life.

Ronnie grew up in Lone Grove and attended school there graduating with the Lone Grove High School Class of 1978. He then became a diesel mechanic working on trucks and in the oilfield for many years. He was always known to be tinkering around with different projects.

He is preceded in death by his parents George Elmer and Patsy Jones.

Ronnie leaves to cherish his memory to his sons, Cody Jones and his wife Kaylyn of Lone Grove, Matthew Jones of Lone Grove; daughters, Kimberly Schreibvogel and her husband Dustin of Lone Grove, Jennifer Stoker and her husband Andrew of Lone Grove; brothers, Allen Jones and his wife Donna of Arkoma, ARK, David Jones and his wife Coy of Lone Grove; Marty Jones and his wife Barbara of Lone Grove; nieces and nephews, Allen Ray Jones, Patrick Jones, Chris Jones, Michael Moyers, and Crystal McMillan, Michael Jones, Sonia Potts, and Stacey Corley many other relatives and a host of friends.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Hubert Harris, Dennis Duke, Terry Cassingham, Marty Jones, Kermit McKinney, and Lynn Bolles.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 Sunday evening at Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Wilson.
