Roy Dale Cryer

Roy Dale Cryer, of Ardmore, departed this life on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at Southbrook Nursing Center of Ardmore at the age of 71 years, 7 months, and 5 days. Graveside memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, October 15, 2022 at Keller Cemetery near Wilson. Cremation services are under the direction and care of Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Wilson.

Roy was born on February 12,1951 in Wichita Falls, TX to the late Mr. Buford Odell Cryer and Mrs. Edna Ethel (Lewellen) Cryer.

He had lived in Arkansas and Ardmore most of his life. Roy was a painter in construction for several years. He enjoyed watching westerns, car racing, and working on cars. His favorite classis car was the Chevy El Camino. He always had a funny sarcastic humor that could make a whole room laugh. He loved visiting with his brothers and family. He was of the Christian faith.

Roy is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Lois Cryer; daughter, Darla Deanne Cryer and a brother, Ronnie Cryer.

He is survived by his two sons Mark Anthony Cryer and his wife Stacy of West Siloam Springs, and Kevin Dewayne Cryer and his wife Katrina of Fayettville, AR; grandchildren, Whitney Marie Cryer of Colcord, Kein Dale Cryer of Fayettville, AR, Raelyn Cryer of Colcord, and Ryleigh Martin of Colcord; brother, Alfred Cryer of Ardmore; sister, Lisa Nottviet; Many other relatives and a host of friends.
