Memorial Graveside Services for Sharon Fay (Back) Carlson are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Monday, March 28, 2022, at McAlister Cemetery, Overbrook, OK . Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Crematory.

Sharon was born October 11, 1950 at Borger, TX to the late Mr. Thomas Clyde Back and Mrs. Lois Florene (Platt) Back Sartor. She departed this life on March 4, 2022 at Integris Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK.

Sharon was raised in Borger, TX and that is where she married the love of her life, Mr. Leroy Carlson in 1966. Leroy was in the United States Air Force which moved the family around wherever he was stationed. To this union the couple were blessed with two sons, Wesley Ray and Richard Aaron Carlson. Sharon spent most of her life as a homemaker but also worked as a waitress and a cook for several restaurants. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, going to garage sales, and playing bingo. Sharon spent many years living in Ardmore where she was a long time member of the Trinity Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death are her parents; husband, Leroy October 8, 2020, sisters, Jeanette, Mary, and Jo Ann; brothers, Albert Jefferson, Thomas "Clyde", and Billy Ray Sartor.

Survivors include her two sons, Wesley Ray Carlson and Richard Aaron Carlson both of Oklahoma City; sister, Joyce Klement of Ardmore; brothers, Edger Lee Back and wife Mary and Tracy Back all of Pontiac, MI; mother of her grandchildren, Alisha Chase; grandchildren, Brandon Carlson, Carmen Carlson, and Richard Aaron Carlson, Jr.; numerous other family and many friends.
