Sherri Lynn Sparkman Blevins

Healdton - Funeral services for Ms. Sherri Lynn (Smith) Sparkman Blevins, (subject to change without notice), 70, of Healdton are scheduled for 2:00 PM Monday, Dec. 13, 2021, at the First Baptist Church of Healdton with Bro. John Harris officiating. Interment will follow at the Mount Olive Cemetery of Healdton. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Healdton.

Sherri was born June 16, 1951 at Ardmore to Mr. Kenneth L. "Smitty" Smith and Mrs. Oweeta Marie (Anderson) Smith. She departed this life on Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2021, at a nursing home facility in Oklahoma City.

Sherri was raised at Cushing where she attended and graduated high school as the class of 1969. She married Larry Sparkman and to this union they were blessed with one daughter, Kristi. Sherri worked in this area at Colvert's Dairy of Ardmore and at their family business, Oil Well Cementers of Healdton.

Sherri married Max Blevins on October of 1978, and they resided at El Reno, Artesia, NM, Gainesville and finally Healdton in 1982. She was always very outgoing and full of life. She loved to travel, especially when it was a cruise and enjoyed many trips to Vegas. She loved scuba diving, puzzles and decorating cakes. She always had a heart of gold and very giving heart.

She is preceded by her father, Mr. K.L. "Smitty" Smith; infant son, Bryan Nicholas Blevins; sister, Brenda Darling; and brothers, Larry and David Smith.

Survivors include her daughter, Kristi Lyn Aycox and husband Terry of Edmond; mother, Oweeta Marie Smith of Edmond; sister-in-law, Jody Smith of Healdton; brother-in-law, Jim Darling of Healdton; grandchildren, Tyler Aycox and wife Teondra of Ft. Jackson, SC, Trevor Aycox and Tori Aycox, both of Edmond; 1 great grandchild on the way, due in July; special friends, Gilbert and Suzie Phillips, Debra Key and Phyllis Brown; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a multitude of friends.

Casket bearers are Jared Riffe, Jeremy Estle, James Thompson, Brock Williams, D.J. Brown and Bobby Bartholomew.

Honorary Bearer will be Gilbert Phillips.

Family visitation will be from 6 to 8 pm Sunday evening at Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Healdton.
