Sherry Ann (Curran) Tadlock

Memorial Services for Sherry Ann (Curran) Tadlock, 71, of Waurika, are scheduled for 10:00 A.M., Saturday, April 27, 2024, at the Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Wilson with Rev. Billy Holder officiating.


Sherry was born August 23, 1952, at Wilson, to the late Mr. Ira David Curran and Mrs. Mary Faye (Rogers) Curran. She departed this life Friday, April19, 2024, at Wichita Falls, TX.


Sherry was raised in Healdton where she attended school. She married Mr. Jimmy Tadlock on July 26, 1969, at Healdton and they had 51 wonderful years of marriage. Sherry worked as a Beautician for 32 years, owning and operating, Sherry’s Beauty Shop in Healdton. At the time of her passing, she served as the Pastor at Courtney United Methodist Church. Family was her first priority. She was a very proud mom, grandma and great grandma. Sherry never missed an event that her children or grandchildren participated in. She became an avid OU Softball and OKC Thunder fan. Sherry was a 25 year Breast cancer survivor.


Preceding her in death are her parents; her brother, Tom Curran; and her husband Jim Tadlock.


She is survived by her children, Bobby Tadlock and wife Jamie of Ringling; Jennifer Higdon and husband James of Chattanooga; grandchildren, Danielle Voyles and husband Justin of Thackerville, Jadel Higdon and wife Raeanna of Tyler, Texas, Randall Higdon-Bates and husband Brady of Chattanooga, Hoss Tadlock of Marietta, Ciera Stephenson and husband Blain of Ardmore, Savannah Williams and husband Dennis of Ringling, Josh Smith and wife Amy of Ringling, Great Grandchildren, Case and Mac Smith, Jackson and Jayson Voyles, and Sianna Williams; Sister, Cindy Simpson and husband Mark of Ratliff City; numerous other family and many friends.


Honorary bearers are Ronnie Austin, Johnny Dewbre, Dustin Meador, Jimmy Dewbre, Adam Ogle, and Kerry Blankenship.
