Shirley Eileene Jenkins

Ratliff City - Mrs. Shirley "Eileene" (Pearson) Jenkins, 69 of Pernell departed from this life on Thursday, December 1, 2022 at her home in Elmore City.  She was born to the late Mr. Fredrick Sheehan and Mrs. Bernedette Mary (Gerode) Sheehan in Glendale, California.  Shirley was raised in California, attending school to be a nurse.  She was the 4th of 7 children and as a single mother, she raised 3 daughters.  Shirley moved to Oklahoma, living at Harrah and then to the Ratliff City area.  She worked a CNA and LPN professionally and then later in life at the convenient stores as an attendant.  Watching television was her favorite, especially Soap Operas.  Shirley's prize procession was her grandchildren.  Nothing made her smile more than them. 

Preceding her in death were her parents; 5 siblings, Bob Barton, Donna Barton, Doreene Pearson, Kathy Sheehan, and WM Frederick Sheehan.

Shirley is survived by her daughters, Stephanie Orta and husband Miguel of Pernell, Angela Olson Parish and husband Shanyn of Visalia, CA, and Tina Olson and Kenneth Lawson of Loco; 9 grandchildren, Baylee Smart and husband Kyle, Adrianna Johnson and husband Bradley, Miguel Orta, Brannon Parish, Emily, Stephanie, Kali, Christian and Mollie; 5 great grandchildren, Bowen, Oakley, Lucca, Taytum, and Breck; sister, Bonnie Sheehan; and by a host of other family and friends.
