Stephen Jay Keeton

Lone Grove - Graveside services for Mr. Stephen "Steve" Jay Keeton, 63 of Wilson are scheduled for 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at Newport Cemetery with Jim McGaughy and Bro. Micah Wells officiating. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Wilson.

Steve was born October 23, 1956 in Ardmore, OK to the late Mr. Wilburn "Skinny" Keeton and Mrs. Dorothy Imagene Balthrop. He departed from this life on Saturday, September 26, 2020 in Lawton, OK.

Steve was raised at Stobtown attending school at Lone Grove. He had worked in the oilfield most of his life. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching old westerns.

Preceded him in death is his father, Skinny and twin brother, Mike Keeton.

Steve is survived by his mother, Imagene Lowery of Wilson; sister, Kristy Lambert and husband Wade of Wilson; sons, Tim Keeton of Stroud and Bill Mauldin and wife Kim of Wilson; daughters, Crystal Rake and husband Landon of Stroud and Marsha Turner and husband Curt of Wilson; 8 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews; long time friends, Hoppy and Tooty Bray; and a host of other family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Derrell Bray, Derren Bray, Jaysen Lambert, Chris Dethloff, Ashton English, and Curt Turner. Honorary bearers, Gary Moore, Harold Gray, Calvin Martin, Chris White, Jimmy White and Jerrell Bray.
