Thelma Mae Hadley

Rubottom – Graveside Services for Mrs. Thelma Mae (Boss) Hadley, 87, are scheduled for 10:00 AM Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at Crow Cemetery near Orr with Bro. Clint Walker officiating. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Funeral Home of Wilson.

Mrs. Hadley was born June 3, 1927 at Sayre, Oklahoma to the late Mr. Harvey Lee Boss and Mrs. Willie Franklin (McDougal) Boss. She departed this life on Thursday, April 16, 2015 at Ardmore.

Mrs. Hadley was raised in Sayre, moving to Texas at the age of 12. She met Loyd Hadley during that time and they were later married on July 7, 1942 in Florence, AZ. The couple moved around during their married life living in London, California, and later moving back, to Rubottom, OK making it their home in 1983. She loved to read and cherished her grandchildren. Mrs. Hadley always loved to sing and was always a Christian lady.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Willie Boss; her husband Loyd Lee Hadley on September 30, 1992; three brothers, Theodore Boss, Eugene Franklin Boss, and Eddie Lee Boss; sister, Shirley Sisney; daughter, Barbara Ann Hadley.

Survivors include two daughters, Sharon Cannon and husband Kenneth of Atoka and Judy Moore and husband Gary of Wilson; One son, Loyd “Shorty” Eugene Hadley and wife JoAnn of Selma, CA.; 9 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren, numerous great great grandchildren; numerous other family and friends.

Pallbearers are Jason Lee Dunn, Steven Crum, Greg Lee Dunn, Walter Ray Moore, Kayla Cheyenne Crum, Brittany Diane Moore, and Jessica Nicole Crum.
