Thomas Byron Lafrance

Wilson- Private Celebration of Life services are to be scheduled at a later time for Mr. Thomas Byron LaFrance, 68, Respiratory Therapist of Madill, Oklahoma. Arrangements are under care and direction of Alexander-Gray Crematory and Funeral Home of Wilson.

Thomas “Tom” Byron LaFrance was born September 4, 1945 at La Porte, Indiana to the late Mr. Peter Harry LaFrance and Mrs. Donna (Fellows) LaFrance. He passed from this life April 18, 2014 at his home in Madill, Oklahoma.

Tom was raised in Indiana until he was a young man. He moved to Wisconsin to help with his grandparents farm work during the summer. After summer he found employment at the local hospital and there he met the love of his life Barbara Chizek. Tom and Barbara were united in marriage February 6, 1971 at Janesville, Wisconsin. They made their home there until August 1987 when they were called to become missionaries moving to the Philippines . Afterwards they moved to Oklahoma where Tom worked at several local hospitals in the Ardmore area as a Respiratory Therapist until he retired in 2008. He enjoyed studying languages.Tom adored his grandchildren and family .

Preceding him in death are his Father, Peter LaFrance; Step-Father, Ed Konieczny and Brother, Eddy Konieczny.

Survivors include his Wife, Barbara B. LaFrance of the home; Son, Daniel LaFrance and wife, Alisha and their children, Ashton, Landon, Mason, Samson and Autumn of Madill, OK.; Mother, Donna Konieczny of Manitowoc, WI.; 3 sisters, Pam Cassel and husband, Larry of Warsaw, IN., Mary Caird and husband, Larry of Manitowoc, WI., Joan Konieczny of Berrien Center, MI.; Brother, Phillip Konieczny of Elkhart, IN.; Numerous Family and Friends.
