Timothy Audlsey Settles

Timothy was born February 28, 1950 at Odessa, TX to the late Mr. Daniel Ingram Settles and Mrs. Lucille Fern (Murdock) Settles. He departed this life Monday October 22, 2012 at Duncan.

Timothy resided in Odessa until the age of 10 when he moved to the Velma area. He attended school at Velma until the 8th grade and continued to live in the Velma area until 1995. He was employed at Sunshine Industries of Ardmore as a Janitor where he retired and then relocated to the Sterling House of Duncan. He loved watching baseball and westerns. He was a past member of the First United Methodist Church of Velma.

Preceding him in death are his Parents, Dan and Lucille Settles.

Survivors include his Brother, Mr. Joseph “Dan” Settles and wife Cyndie of Ratliff City; Sister, Marianne (Settles) Melton and husband Joe of Excelsior, MN; Nieces, Shelby Reynoldson and husband Jim of Phoenix, AZ and Elizabeth Knollenberg and husband Bob of Fairview, TX; Nephews Mike Settles and Gary Settles of Maple Valley, WA; 9 Great Nephews and Great Nieces; Numerous cousins and other family.

Honorary Pallbearers are Chuck Murdock , Lester Moore , Sunshine Industry Faculty and the Sterling House Faculty of Duncan.

Family visitation will be from 5 to 7 pm Thursday evening at the funeral home in Ratliff City.
