Trudy Elaine Miller

Celebration of life Services for Trudy Elaine (DeBock) Miller, 77, of Ardmore, will be held at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at the Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Wilson with Bro. Chuck McElroy and Bro. Wayne Warthen officiating. Interment will follow at the Lone Grove West Cemetery. Services are under the direction and care of Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Wilson.

Trudy was born February 11, 1945, at Quinlan, OK to the late Mr. Leo Arthur DeBock and Mrs. Crystal Elaine (Crouse) DeBock. She departed this life December 25, 2022, at her home in Ardmore.

Trudy attended school at Quinlan but later graduated from Dickson High School, class of 1963. She married the love of her life, Buck Miller on May 21, 1964 at the Bethel Baptist Church in Ardmore and they spent 58 wonderful years together. After marriage the couple moved to Shawnee and later to Grand Prairie, TX for around 10 years and in 1977 they made their permanent home in Ardmore. Trudy opened her own daycare business, Nanny’s Playskool, in 1995, which has became a family business passed on to her daughters and granddaughters. She was known to all as Nanny. When Trudy retired she and Buck began spending their Winters in Pharr, TX where the weather was warm. She loved to play bingo and go to garage sales. Trudy enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and she was a long time member of the Blue Ribbon Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death are her parents; daughter KaSandra Miller; sisters, Toni Loveday, Marsha Peery, Leota McCarver, and Patty Shelton; brothers, Lynn DeBock, Joe DeBock, and and infant brother, Phillip DeBock, and brother-in-law, Jerry McCarver.

Survivors include her husband Buck Miller of the home; daughter, June Miller of Lone Grove; son, Michael Miller and wife Kerri of Justin, TX; grandchildren, Melanie Conway and husband Bryan, Darren Miller and wife Angie, Danielle Idleman and husband Justyn, Emily Miller, Zane Miller and Dalton Miller; great grandchildren, Hunter and Aubrey Conway, Rhett, Corbin, and Leyton Miller, Kynsler and Cooper Idleman, and Millie Arias; numerous other family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Zane Miller, Justyn Idleman, Bryan Conway, Lori Miller, Jackie Humphrey, and Jerrel Miller.

Honorary bearers are Darren Miller and Dalton Miller.

Interment will follow at the Lone Grove West Memorial Cemetery at Lone Grove.

Family visitation is scheduled from 6-8 P.M., Tuesday evening, at the Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel at Wilson.
