Vernon Glenn Carroll

Ringling- A celebration of life and time for embracing for Vernon Glenn Carroll, 60, are scheduled for 6:00- 8:00 PM Thursday, January30, 2014 at the Alexander Funeral Home Chapel of Ringling. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Funeral Home and Crematory of Ringling.

Glenn was born March 24, 1953 at Norman, Oklahoma to Mr. Hyrum Banks Carroll and Mrs. Evelyn (Melton) Carroll. He passed from this life Saturday, January 25, 2014 at Midwest City, Oklahoma.

Glenn was raised in the Graham and Fox area graduating from Fox High School in 1971. He and the former Ms. Donna Jo Way were married May 26, 1973 at the Graham Assembly of God Church by Bro. Hurshel Baker. They remained in this area residing in Ringling for 33 years. He worked in the oilfield for several years for his father in law, Bill Way and recently for Barry Hickman. Glenn liked riding motorcycles as a young man and always enjoyed watching westerns. He was a member at Graham Assembly of God Church.

Glenn is preceded in death by his Father; Two Infant Sisters; Daughter in law, Dondria Hickman; Sister, LeeAnn Carroll; Stepfather, Roy Wikle; Two Grandchildren, Brooklyn and Bryce Hickman.

Survivors include his Wife Donna Jo Carroll of the home; Mother Evelyn Wikle of Wilson, OK.; Daughter, Tisha Lester and husband Joe of Reck, OK.; Son Benjie Hickman of Reck, OK.; Grandchildren,Ryan, Luke, Whitney, Jessica and Nash Lester, Kyle and Tyler Hickman; Nephews, Travis Wikle and Marcus Denton of the home; Niece, Amber Wikle and three other nieces ; Uncle Adrian Melton of Ardmore, OK.; Mother in law, Madeline Way of Reck, OK.; Numerous other family and friends.
