Vicki Dianne Kirkpatrick

Velma - Funeral Services for Mrs. Vicki Dianne (Britt) Kirkpatrick, 67 of Velma are scheduled for 10:00 A.M., Friday, March 11, 2022 at the Velma First Baptist Church with Rev. Kerry Glasgow officiating. Interment will follow to Ratliff City Cemetery. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Velma Chapel.

Vicki was born August 6, 1954 in Stephenville, Texas to the late Mr. John Henry Britt, Jr., and Mrs. Flora Jane (Owens) Britt. She departed from this life on Thursday, March 3, 2022 in Duncan, OK.

Vicki was raised in Texas and Oklahoma graduating from Fox High School in 1972. She married Mr. Virgil "Allen" Kirkpatrick on August 20, 1979 in Gainesville, TX. Allen worked in the oilfield all their married lives where they lived in Crane, TX, Lake Texoma before moving to this area to help take care of Vicki's mom. When Allen retired, he and Vicki traveled to many places. She enjoyed karaoke, volunteering at the VFW and the Moose Lodge of Duncan, but most of all she loved her grandkids.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and a sister, Florena Sue (Britt) Paul.

Vicki is survived by her husband of 42 years, Allen of the home; son, John Kirkpatrick and wife Isidra of Velma; brother, Johnny Britt of Velma; grandchildren, Michael Northrip, Riley Northrip and John Eli Kirkpatrick; and a host of other family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Cody Kirkpatrick, Danny Ray Lynn, Bobby Gene McCown, Tanner Britt, Nick Jett and Scott Jett. Honorary bearers will be Taylor Britt, Clinton Trice, John Vernon Trice, Terry Trice, Corey Paul, Lonnie Wayne Owens, David Owens, Jeffrey Gartrell, Tommy Paul, and Jason Sanchez.

Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 5-7 P.M. at the Alexander Gray Velma Chapel.
