Vivian Ruth Patty

Brushy Mound - Funeral Services for Mrs. Vivian Ruth (Miller) Patty, 71, of Brushy Mound are scheduled for 2:00 PM Monday May 3, 2021 at the Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Wilson with Rev. Mike Williams officiating and her brother Ron Miller providing the Eulogy. Interment will follow at the Crow Cemetery. 
Vivian was born on April 25, 1950 at Rubottom to the late Mr. Ovis Dee Miller and Mrs. Edna Mae (Turner) Miller. She went to her heavenly home on Wednesday,  April 28, 2021 at a healthcare facility in Oklahoma City. 
Vivian was raised mostly at Rubottom attending school at Leon. She married Mr. Truman Patty on August 21, 1963 at the Brushy Mound Missionary Baptist Church. They have remained residents of Brushy Mound most  of their lives together. 
Vivian was most well known for driving a bus for Ringling Public School and SOTC. She also worked at Little Nell's as a cashier and at the pants factory. Vivian loved to cook and can and was a member of the Rubottom Baptist Church. 
She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Clinton Dee Miller and Marion Earl Prust; daughters in law, Christy and Erika Patty.
Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Truman Patty of the home; sons, Shane Patty and Shannon Patty, both of Brushy Mound; sister, Gail Jolly and husband Mike of Madill; brother, Ron Miller and wife Cecilia of Orlando, FL; grandchildren, Dustin, Austin and Guy Nolan Patty; numerous other family and friends. 
Casket bearers will be Jason Canales, Tony Reed, Roger Romines, Austin Patty, Terry Fuqua, Dustin Patty and Guy Nolan Patty.
Honorary bearers are Earl Eubanks, Bryson Crosthwait, Forrest Gilcrease, Steven Mac Austin, Dustin Eubanks and Russell Murray. 
Family visitation will be held from 5 to 7pm Sunday evening at the funeral home in Wilson.
