Waunell "Nell" Crabb

Ringling - Services for Mrs. Waunell "Nell" (Allen) Crabb, 89, of Oklahoma City are scheduled for 2:00 PM Friday, Jan. 29, 2021 at Ringling Memorial Cemetery in Ringling. The family respectfully asks that anyone  who attends to please wear a mask due to COVID-19.  Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Ringling.  

Nell was born June 24, 1931 at Grady to the late  Martin "M.L." Luther Allen and Nina Alice (Reynolds) Allen. She went to her heavenly home on Sunday,  January 24, 2021 at Sommerset Assisted Living, Oklahoma City.

Nell was raised in Ringling  where she graduated from high school in 1949. She married the love of her life Charles Ray Crabb, on April 19, 1952 in Ardmore. Nell was employed for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company, of Ardmore. Nell and Ray enjoyed spending time together at their Lake home in Enos. They also were avid OU fans and held season football tickets for years. Nell was a devoted Christian and was a member of Southwest Baptist Church, Oklahoma City. .

Those preceding her are her parents, M.L. Allen and Nina Allen; husband Charles who passed away on Nov. 25, 2008; siblings, Opal (Allen) Dunford, Vera (Allen) Cravens, Jean (Allen) Ilinski, Joy (Allen) Hays, Lloyd Allen, Bob Allen, Bill Allen, Finas Allen and Dink Allen.

Survivors include three very special nieces who cared for her, Karen Cravens, Donna Ilinski and Jan Baker with numerous other nieces and nephews, other family and a multitude of friends.

The family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff of Sommerset Assisted Living for their kindfelt care and support provided to Nell during her stay.
