Services for Wendolyn Delois (Finley) Norman, 90, of Healdton, are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at the Healdton First Baptist Church with Kent Stewart officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Olive Cemetery in Healdton. Services are under the direction and care of Alexander Gray Funeral Home at Healdton.


Wendolyn was born July 2, 1933, at Healdton, to the late Mr. Robert Eugene Finley and Mrs. Lois (Sanders) Finley. She departed this life July 5, 2023, in the comfort of her home at Healdton.


Wendolyn was raised in the area graduating from Dundee High School in 1950. She went on to study Cosmetology, worked at Lubby’s Salon for many years, in addition to a few secretarial jobs, and delivering phone books in town. She married Mr. Blum [Jack] Eugene Norman on July 21, 1951 and together they had four sons: Robert, Wendel, Ronald, and Doyce. Wendolyn and Jack were married for 56 years at the time of his passing in 2008. Wendolyn found joy in crocheting, sharing stories of her late husband, spending time at the lake with her dogs, working crossword puzzles to keep her mind sharp, birdwatching, and encouraging friends & family to practice deep breathing exercises.


Preceding her in death are her parents, Robert and Lois Finley; husband, Jack Norman; son, Wendel Norman; two grandchildren; and three siblings: Windford Finley, Delta Bray, and Linda Lawan Shepard.


Wendolyn is survived by her three sons, Robert Eugene Norman of Healdton, Ronald Travis Norman of Fort Worth, TX, and Doyce Leon Norman of Healdton; 12 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren, and her Chihuahua, Chico.


Pallbearers are Doyce Norman, Terry Rozzell, Travis Woodward, Ryan Bunda, Chuck Hopson, and Delton Bray.
