William "J.R." Jasper Briscoe

Mr. William "J.R." Jasper Briscoe, Jr. of Healdton, departed this life on November 6, 2021 in Chickasha at the age of 79 years, 0 months, and 7 days. His family will honor his life with their own celebration at a later date. Cremation services are under the direction and care of Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Ringling.

Mr. William Briscoe "J.R." was born on October 30, 1942 in Hobbs, NM to the late Mr. William J. Briscoe, Sr. and Mrs. Frances Marie (Hope) Briscoe.

Mr. Briscoe had served in the United States National Guard for 9 years proudly serving his country. He was a truck driver and had traveled many places working. J.R. loved watching OU Sooner football and the Ringling Blue Devils. J.R. was of the Baptist faith.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Sammy Briscoe, and Barry Briscoe.

Mr. Briscoe is survived by his children John Wesley Jones and wife LaRhonda of Ringling, James Jones and his significant other Donna Hames of Noble, Gary Jones and his significant other, Crystal Bench of Norman; sisters, Pat Jubb of Healdton, and Nancy Simpkins of Florida; brother, Jimmy Briscoe of Edmond; 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; many other relatives and a host of friends.
