Willo Mae Baker

Wilson- Funeral Services for Mrs. Willo Mae (Hampton) Baker, 86, is scheduled for 2:00 PM Saturday, February 2, 2013 at Alexander Funeral Home Chapel of Wilson with Rev. Alex Costea officiating. Interment will follow at Bomar Point Cemetery of Wilson. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Funeral Home of Wilson.

Willo was born November 11, 1926 at Hastings, MI to the late Mr. Garner C. Hampton and Mable D. (Armour) Hampton. She died Wednesday January 30, 2013 at Sanger, TX.

Willo was raised at Hastings, Michigan and married Mr. Andrew “Andy” M. Baker on April 7, 1946 at Hasting. She was a stay at home Mother raising her four children and gave piano lessons from her home. She later served as an Administrative Assistant to the High School Principal at Bishop Lynch Public School in Dallas. She retired from there in 1993. In her retirement she enjoyed doing oil paintings and reading. Willo was of the Methodist faith.

Preceding her in death is her Parents; Husband , Andrew – February 18, 2009; Son, Mark Baker and Sister, Dawn Hampton.

Survivors include her Daughters, Pamela Moore and husband Jimmy of Sanger, TX, and Cynthia Baker and Hillsboro, TX; Son, Michael Baker and wife Kathy of Laguna Beach, CA. Brother, Kenneth Hampton; 9 Grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Grandsons and Son In law.
