Windel Dean Loftin

Countyline– Funeral Services for Mr. Windel Dean Loftin of Countyline are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Monday, October 28, 2013 at the First Baptist Church of Ratliff City, Oklahoma with Rev. Monk Firestone officiating and Rev. Ricky Williams assisting. Interment will follow at the Alma Cemetery. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Funeral Home of Ratliff City.

Windel was born January 14, 1948 at Throckmorton, Texas to Mr. James Winfrey Loftin and Mrs. Anna Mae (Merritt) Loftin He departed this life Tuesday October 22, 2013 at Integris Baptist Hospital of Oklahoma City.

Windel was raised in Elecktra, TX. He married the former Sherley Ann Jump on January 10, 1968 at Elecktra, TX. They have resided at Countyline, OK. the past 46 years. Windel worked on pulling units all of his working years retiring from Key Energy of Countyline in 2010 as a Rig Operator. He loved race cars and enjoyed racing and working on them. Windel enjoyed going out dancing and enjoyed time with family.

Preceding him in death are his Parents ; Daughter, Tammy; Sisters, Betty, Alice, Nelva , Sue and Irene; Brothers, James, Gary, and Kenny.

Survivors include Wife, Sherley Loftin of the Home; Daughter, Christy Lockwood and husband Jerry of Velma, Ok.; Two Sons, Kelly Loftin and wife Jenifer of Countyline, Ok. and Rick Minnick and wife Julie of Medford, Ok.;Brother, David Loftin and wife Donna of Denver, CO.; Sister Leona Bennyhill of Lake Charles, LA.; Grandchildren , Jerry JR., Christopher, Shyda, Zachary, Coty, Remington, Richie and Casey; Great Grandchildren, Lanie, Brant and Ariana.

Pallbearers are Bennie Pedigo, Justin Pedigo, Gary Lockwood, Rick Gunsolus, Michael Brisco and Tommy Brisco.

Honorary Bearer is William Miller.

Family visitation will be Sunday, October 27, 2013 from 5-7 P.M. at Alexander Funeral Home in Ratliff City, Oklahoma.
