Healdton – Memorial Services for Mr. Benny James Kinsey, 51, of Healdton are scheduled for 2:00 PM Thursday Jan. 15, 2026 at the First Baptist Church of Healdton with Rev. Mike Johnston and Rev. Kent Stewart officiating. Cremation services and arrangements are under the direction and care of Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Healdton. Everyone is encouraged to wear “overalls” to honor the look and memory of Ben Kinsey.

Ben was born on January 7, 1975, in Jacksonville, Florida, to Paul Ray Kinsey and Cheryl Ann (Ellis) Kinsey. He departed this life on January 8, 2026, at Wilson, leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy of love.

Ben journey took root in Fox and Healdton, where he graduated from Healdton High School in 1993. On a beautiful day, December 12, 1998, he married the love of his life, Jennifer Amant, in a heartfelt ceremony at the Wilson Assembly of God Church.

His career path was a testament to his hard work and dedication. Ben began working at Brady’s Welding before pursuing his passion by opening "Hot Rod Welding." Later, he became part of the Michelin Tire Manufacturing team in Ardmore, where he contributed in maintenance until its closure. With hopes held high, he looked forward to reigniting the spirit of "Hot Rod Welding."

Ben interests were as vibrant as his warm spirit. An accomplished archer, he proudly achieved #7 in traditional archery in the US. Music was also a profound part of his life; he loved playing the bass guitar and singing. His talent shone through in the songs he wrote, embodying his passions and experiences. Most recently, Ben took up playing pool, eagerly anticipating the joy of joining a local league.

Ben is preceded in death by his beloved grandparents, Ben and Irm (Blessing) Ellis, and Bill and Dorothy (Hardison) Kinsey; as well as his uncle Dee Ellis, aunt Donna Henderson, and in-laws Richard and Peggy Amant.

He leaves behind a loving family who will miss him dearly – his wife Jennifer; their son, Ethan Kinsey; their daughter, Katie McGee, and her husband Tyler, all of Healdton; his parents, Paul and Cheryl Kinsey of Healdton; his brother, Jesse Kinsey, and wife Tonya of Healdton; his nephews Layne and Payton Kinsey; his niece Cassidy Kinsey; along with numerous relatives and countless friends who were blessed to know him.

Honorary bearers are all of Ben’s friends, to many to list.
