Funeral services for Mrs. Betty Jean (Armstrong) Keck, 94, will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, September 28, 2026, at the Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Healdton, with Rev. Caleb Holbrook officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Olive Cemetery.

Betty was born on June 30, 1932, in Chickasha to J.H. Armstrong and Tempa (Barrett) Armstrong. She passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, in Pilot Point, TX.

Raised in Chickasha, Betty attended school there. At 17, she married LeRoy Keck on December 22, 1949. They moved to California during LeRoy's service in the US Navy, where Betty completed her education. After LeRoy's honorable discharge, they settled in Healdton to start their family.

In Healdton, Betty worked as a secretary at the First Baptist Church of Healdton but primarily embraced her role as a homemaker. She enjoyed playing the piano and traveling extensively with LeRoy, making cherished memories in their camper and on cruises. LeRoy preceded her in death on September 22, 2015. Betty was a former member of the First Baptist Church of Healdton and later joined the First Baptist Church of Sherman, TX.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; her son, Terry Keck, on January 7, 1997; and her sisters, Leona Shoemake and Frankie Parr.

Betty is survived by her daughter, Rena Tadlock, and her husband Evert; grandchildren, Stephanie Burton and her husband Brett, Dennis Tadlock and his wife Erika, and Penny Martinez and her husband Jose; great-grandchildren, Devin, Nicholas, Hannah, Madelynn, Seren, and Liev; great-great-grandchild, Bryson; and numerous other family members and friends.

Family visitation will be held from 12-2 PM prior to the service at Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Healdton.
